My first efforts in the visual arts took place when I was about 10 years old and continued throughout my teen years. My preferred medium during this time were pencils, charcoal and watercolor. Unfortunately, after entering college, I was forced to put my art on hold because of other demands on my time.
In 2003, I was able to revive my passion for the arts. For me art is a way to capture the beauty that I encounter in my life. My art, simply stated, records moments in time. It reflects my observations of the things that we often overlook in our hectic lives. It is my hope that my works evoke feelings in the viewer.
My work entails oil paintings and photography. My subjects include florals, seascapes, still life and portraits.
